Darjeeling Autumn Flush Black Tea – Loose Leaf

Darjeeling Autumn Flush Black Tea is harvested during the third and final flush of the Darjeeling season, typically between October and November. As the growing season draws to a close and temperatures begin to drop, the tea leaves develop a distinctly mellow, rounded character that sets the autumn flush apart from its spring and summer counterparts.

The liquor brews to a warm copper-amber hue, with a smooth, full-bodied taste and naturally fruity undertones. Notes of ripe stone fruit, dried flowers, and a gentle woodsy warmth make this an exceptionally comforting cup. The finish is long and satisfying, with none of the astringency sometimes found in first or second flush teas.

Autumn flush Darjeeling is often described as the most approachable of the three flushes — rich enough to enjoy with a splash of milk, yet nuanced enough to savour on its own. It is a wonderful choice for those transitioning from everyday black teas to the world of single-origin, estate-grown teas.

Brew with freshly boiled water at 90–95°C for 3–4 minutes. Can be enjoyed with or without milk. A light sweetener such as honey complements its natural fruitiness beautifully.
